ANAHEIM GARDENWALK CONTINUES ITS TRANSFORMATION INTO WORLD-CLASS, SO-CAL “EATER-TAINMENT” DESTINATION WITH OPENING OF NEW DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT OPTIONS

Grasslands Meat Market, Go VR Gaming, Artists Republic Gallery and House of Blues Anaheim to Open Feb. & March

(ANAHEIM, CA) – As the trend of consumer spending habits focuses on enhanced shopping experiences that inspire and entertain, it is no surprise that Anaheim GardenWalk’s “eatertainment” emphasizes providing their patrons with exactly what they want. Anaheim GardenWalk announces the openings of Grasslands Meat Market, Go VR Gaming, Artists Republic Gallery and House of Blues Anaheim, which offer premium entertainment and dining to captivate both the local community and tourists visiting the area.

“We continue to add local, regional and national tenants to Anaheim GardenWalk that complement the current entertainment mix and cater to our growing market giving patrons a reason to visit and stay longer,” said to Jerry Alder, General Manager, Anaheim GardenWalk. “We are excited about our new additions, all of which all offer a personalized experience, located in a convenient and exceptional setting in Southern California.”

Grasslands Meat Market: Scheduled to open on March 20, the restaurant will be located in the North Court next to Rumba Room Live. Bringing over 25 years of experience, Grasslands Meat Market offers customers a unique experience that aims to combine the selection and knowledge of a local butcher shop with the hospitality and comfort of a full service restaurant. Customers will choose for themselves from a variety of unique cuts of meat raised on the grasslands of both North and South America which will then be prepared and served for them by a team of experts trained in cooking styles from a multitude of regions. The BBQ/steak restaurant features authentic cooking methods of the Americas ranging from BBQ to Churrasco to Texas-style grilling all under one roof. The restaurant offers full service and bar, music and accommodates customers on-the-go with a take-out counter and catering options. Featuring an open style kitchen, Grasslands Meat Market offers a wide variety of meat entrees, a large selection of salads and side dishes for sophisticated palates.

“Anaheim GardenWalk provides a great location for our new restaurant, as it’s in the center of the resort district and draws international visitors as well as customers from Orange County,” said Frank Kelly, General Manager of Grasslands Meat Market.

Go VR Gaming: Opening on March 3, the 5,025-sq.-ft. virtual reality hot spot will be located next to Red Apparel on the Main Level. Go VR Gaming enables its customers to experience the immersive world of virtual reality. It is also a great venue for private parties, corporate events or birthdays. Unlike a traditional arcade, patrons can choose how long they want to play, ranging from 5 minutes to an hour or more, with dozens of game options. The friendly staff will assist customers with headsets and controllers and be available throughout the VR experience. Go VR Gaming is one of the only virtual reality stores in the area to offer racing simulators, in VR or not.

Artists Republic Gallery: Opened on Feb. 25, Artists Republic Gallery hosted an official grand opening reception for the community. Located on the Main Level, Artists Republic Gallery will feature two exhibits highlighting the works of New Contemporary artists living and working in Southern California: “Autobiomythographical” a collection of new works by Michael Hsiung, a Los Angeles native working as a full-time artist and who was recently awarded gold in New Zealand’s Best Graphic Design; and the 3rd Annual TEN exhibition featuring works from ten prominent Orange County artists selected because of their talents and impact that they are making on the Orange County art community and beyond.

House of Blues of Anaheim: Opened on Feb. 28 on the Upper Level, the new, state-of-theart House of Blues brings a 44,000 sq.-ft. entertainment and dining destination to Anaheim GardenWalk. Featuring a much larger restaurant and bar than it had at Downtown Disney, House of Blues Anaheim’s GardenWalk location offers a 2,200-capacity main music hall for national touring acts and events, a 400-capacity room called The Parish for more intimate performances and a 175-capacity Foundation Room/VIP club.
