STC GardenWalk Goals
STC GardenWalk is gearing up for a grand rebirth with brand new tenants and community events! With new businesses opening this summer alongside exciting events, there will be even more reasons to visit GardenWalk in the near future!
With a history of hosting great events such as Art on the Walk and the Paint Away Cancer Art and Music Festival, the GardenWalk will continue its legacy by holding bigger and better celebrations to elevate the GardenWalk experience. These events will be free and accessible to the public, inviting members from the community and around the world to participate in enriching programs that feature art, dance, and culture as well as emphasize special holidays like Lunar New Year, Cinco de Mayo, and the Fourth of July all with the goal of bringing everyone together.
STC is improving the look and feel of GardenWalk as well! By bringing new plants and seating areas for people to enjoy and relax, our goal is to “bring the garden back to GardenWalk” and create spaces for people of all ages and walks of life to enjoy and congregate whether it is to meet a friend or just escape the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city. There are also plans in the works to build a dog park in the GardenWalk so even our furry friends can come to the GardenWalk and have a good time!
The GardenWalk would be nothing without its amazing restaurants, stores, and entertainment venues. In the coming months, new businesses will be calling the GardenWalk their home. The widely anticipated GardenWalk AMC 6 will be opening its doors in the summer of 2019. With reclining seats and expansive food and drink options, the GardenWalk AMC 6 will be the prime place to watch this summer’s latest flicks and enjoy an experience. Coming later during the summer, STC Gardenwalk will welcome the opening of its craft beer garden which will highlight the local flavors and talents of all Anaheim’s breweries. Flightdeck is also slated to open late 2019 and will offer top of the line thrills in the form of VR aviation experiences. California brunch with a hint of Southern Hospitality will open late 2019 with Huckleberry in the works as guests will be able to experience a hearty and wholesome meal to start off their big day in the resort district. Thrills and chills are also a favorite as GardenWalk will feature a year round haunted maze highlighting horror stories and paraphernalia from all around the world. Gardenwalk has something for everyone and will continue to expand and grow alongside its Anaheim community!
For upcoming events Anaheim residents and visitors can look forward to the 24th annual Taste of Anaheim on May 16th, showcasing food, drinks, and fun from all around Anaheim. California Restaurant Association Foundation’s 7th annual Culinary + Cocktail Clash is also happening on June 2 at the GardenWalk. In this competition, restaurant teams comprised of chefs and culinary students have 30 minutes to prepare a menu for a panel of judges. This event is free and open to the public! So bring your family and friends to watch the show and enjoy the live music, face painting and more that will be available. There will also be a Cocktail Competition following the Culinary Clash at the House of Blues to see who can create the best and tastiest original cocktail!
STC’s tenets of Health, Love, and Wisdom are a primary driving force behind the concepts we present and with the GardenWalk we are dedicated to bringing retail, dining, and entertainment experiences that will cater to both Anaheim locals and tourists by promoting these ideals. We invite you to visit soon to see what is going on at the GardenWalk and create memories with those that you love!
